Does not work
This app requires another app, FileMerge, in order to actually tell you anything about the difference between the files. Otherwise, the error is simply, “These two files are different. They have different content.” and there is a button, “Compare with FileMerge…” But even when I have FileMerge (which is a tool in Xcode) installed, FileMerge fails to load the two files I’m trying to “diff”. I sent a report of the problem to Apple today. I will update this, if the problem is resolved...,

Almost does bare minimum
Tried this on two versions of Reprap firmware, all text files (.c. .h. .cpp). Mostly useless. Will compare files in folders, but doesn’t show WHAT is different. So can’t tell if what is different is one whitespace, or 99% of the whole file.
